Demolition Derby Rules
Use this page to help you get the rules for all of our classes.
The 2008 rules are now here and you can download them below. We will now have a FULL SIZE OPEN CLASS instead of the 1978 and older class. Some of the rules have changed for this class so please read them carefully. This class will be open to all models and model years. If you want to bring a crossover car this is the class for you. Our 1979 and Newer Class, as well as the Compact and Midsized Cars, Compact Trucks, and Full Size Trucks have only changed slightly, please review these rules as well.
There are no rule changes for big cars this year. Please use the 2008 rules.
For Compacts and Midsized you can also use the 2008 rules, however, the following change is now in place:
Rule 11 will now read:
Compact: Any 2 or 4 door sedan or station wagon with a wheel base of 102" or less, 4 cylinder engines only will be allowed. No AMC.
Midsize: Any 2 or 4 door sedan or station wagon with a wheel base over 99" will be allowed, 4 and 6 cylinder engines only. No full frame cars, buses, trucks or 4 x 4's.
Attention Hayward drivers: Don't forget the minimum purse for this show is once again $2000.00
We have had a lot of inquiries into the slider type drive shafts. For this year we will be allowing them. We are going to monitor the use of them very closely. If we see that there is too much of an advantage by using them, therefore not making it fair for all, we will not allow them next year. Remember the decision of the judges is final.
Registration forms are now available below. They are veiwable in either a PDF format or Microsoft word format. You can print them out and have them filled in prior to coming to each event. Lets have a fun and safe year. Hope to see you soon!!!
